Adoptable Mix Alvin Adopted

Adoptable Mix Alvin came to us after being hit by a car and has had 3 major surgeries which removed his spleen, one of his kidneys, fractured his pelvis, and broke his hip and leg. After extensive surgery on his leg, he healed up like a champ.

Adoptable Mix Alvin

Alvin loves to walk but due to his injuries will not require long or difficult walks. He currently uses a doggy door but he is not good and letting anyone know when he has to go the bathroom. He just needs to be let out on a regular basis.

Adoptable Mix Alvin

Adoptable Mix Alvin has substantial anxiety with storms and fireworks. He would benefit from CBD products or anxiety meds. He hardly ever barks, though. Alvin does have slight separation anxiety when left alone, but he is not destructive.

Adoptable Mix Alvin

Alvin doesn’t mind other dogs but isn’t big on playing with them, instead he just prefers snuggling instead. Adoptable Mix Alvin does awesome in the car! He curls up in his car seat and goes to sleep. He is a little shy when meeting people but warms up pretty quickly.

Alvin’s chances of getting arthritis in his hip and leg are pretty high. He loves to walk and be outside but as he ages, his mobility may be limited. Although Alvin has been through a lot, he’s never lost his sweet, loveable disposition. He is going to make an amazing companion to a lucky family.

If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.

The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
