Dogs Marked PENDING have been adopted but are still in the trial period. Dogs Marked ADOPTED may remain on the site momentarily as we await final confirmation they are settled in their furever homes. At any given time, we have about 60 dogs in our care. The ones posted here are fully vetted and ready for adoption, pending adoption, or recently adopted.
Hotdog – Dachshund

Hotdog is a very smart puppy and does well on leash. He loves going for walks around the neighborhood and sniffing all the different scents. In regard to house training, Hotdog is just about perfect here as long as he is let out every couple of hours during the day. At night, he does great for up to 10 hours. Hotdog is not a big barker and will only bark when the other dogs start.

Buddy enjoys car rides and is a calm, quiet passenger. He is friendly with meeting new people but can be very nervous so slow introductions are a must for him. He has his “safe people” and will try to climb in their laps or try to get picked up by them when new, unfamiliar people are around. Once he is comfortable, he is open to all the love from new people! He is friendly when it comes to meeting new pups as well, although he has only been introduced to small pups and also needs slow introductions.

Jerry – Mix

Jerry is 3 years old, weighs 11 pounds, and can’t wait to find his forever home. He is a playful, sweet pup who enjoys spending his days playing with his doggy friends. He also loves making his humans happy. Jerry gets along with other dogs, both big and small. He’s playful with other pups and doesn’t mind sharing his toys! He is also cat friendly. He is curious about the cats in his foster home but just ignores them for the most part. We are unsure how Jerry would do with children as he hasn’t been around any since coming to the rescue.

Toby – Mix
Toby gives gentle and delicate kisses. He sleeps through the night like a baby in the big bed with his foster parents, and is a cuddle bear. He is fully house-trained. He will do best with a family who is home most of the time and has the energy to walk and play with him. We are searching for a peaceful and quiet home where there are no children, probably no cats, and few visitors (he’s been known to snip at those he feels may be a threat to his humans). He’s a handsome and loving boy who will fill your heart and home with joy. An experienced daschund parent would be ideal. He needs someone who will invest time and energy into helping him feel safe and secure around others. Toby is totally worth the effort!

He does love attention from his human and cuddles up nicely with a dog pal, once they have adjusted to each other.

Bruno is gentle and loving. For a blind dog, he climbs stairs to the couch and bed. He lets you know when he wants to get down.
