Meet Adoptable Mix Bambi, an adorable 8-year-old weighing in at just 4.5lbs. Despite her small size, Bambi has a big personality!
She’s quite the social butterfly and gets along well with both small and large dogs, although she can be a bit possessive of her spot on your lap. If another dog tries to join, she might give a little growl or snap to assert her space.
While we haven’t had the chance to see how Bambi interacts with cats or children, it’s best to err on the side of caution with kids due to her petite size and potential for assertiveness. We’re searching for a home with no kids. However, she’s shown no signs of aggression with new dogs and enjoys making new friends, especially when they’re introduced properly.
Bambi is a little bundle of energy when she’s feeling playful, but most of the time, she’s content to snuggle up with you. She’s good on a leash, but because she’s so small, we recommend using a harness to ensure her safety. Although she’s house trained, it took her some time to adjust to pottying outside, so patience is key.
Despite her diva tendencies, Bambi’s heart is as big as they come. She loves car rides and cuddling up close during sleep. While she may seem timid at first, all she needs is a little time and reassurance to show her sweet side. Food and treats aren’t a big deal to her, but she does have a particular fondness for chicken and rice.
