Adoptable Mix Bart

Adoptable mix Bart will make an Amazing companion! Bartholomew loves to follow you around and be near his “person”, either female or male. He enjoys sitting in the recliner with his foster mom, but is sure to then hop over and spend time with his foster dad too. He wouldn’t want to leave anyone out!

Adoptable Mix Bart

This sweet pup was bitten by another dog and does not like the company of other dogs. He’s a good boy who is simply being protective of himself and his people, but he isn’t aggressive. Because of this, Bart needs a home where there are no other dogs.

He’s a sweet senior who loves to go for walks and is fully house trained. As a matter of fact, he’s never had an accident in his foster home. Although he is a senior dog, he is active and in good health. He deserves a home of his own where he can live out his retirement years.

Bart

Bart will run “zoomies” around the couch set if you “chase” him. He loves to take walks and be outside. When spending time in the yard with his people, he always comes when called.

He both uses a dog bed may enjoy sleeping with his parents. He gets tucked into his canopy bed with treats every night. His canopy bed lays on the floor beside the master bed.

Bart has been friendly when meeting new people and exhibits a good nature. He’s not an excessive barker and ignores the squirrels in the back yard, but will bark when other dogs pass by the house. In our care, he has not been introduced to other dogs.

Bart

In our care he has received: Vet Check, Dental Exam, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Skin treatments/ infections, Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication, Major Dental (cleaning and removal).

After Bart’s dental surgery, he was very sensitive. He also changed foster homes at that time and was a bit out of sorts. He’s doing much better now and we expect him to settle into the right forever home without issue. He does have cataracts and some hip issues, but let’s be real. Who at our age doesn’t? Bart doesn’t like to be picked up without his consent.

Adoptable Mix Bart

Adoptable Mix Bart – 13 yrs, 17 lbs

Adoptable mix Bart likes to snuggle or burrow in a blanket, and also enjoys laying in the sun by the windows. Bart likes to go for a walk or outside after eating. He also loves to play ball, but hasn’t quite mastered the idea that he’s supposed to bring you back the ball! He is a loving, fun, and a sweet boy who behaves and minds very well! He’s a healthy senior who is searching for a home without other dogs and a person or couple who will enjoy walking, take him on car rides, and spend time in the yard with him (as well as cuddle time on the couch). Adoption fee $150

If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.

The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
