Adoptable Dachshund Bowski – Adopted

Adoptable Dachshund Bowski, technically Lebowski, loves his furry foster sisters, all 5 of them raging from age 6-14. Lebowski loves to play and wants to chase and wrestle and a little hump too.

He also adores his golden retriever “foster sibling” who is much larger than this little fella. Although Lebowski loves the 2 cats in his foster home, they are not too sure about him. When he is calm and they come around he ignores them, but when they move quickly, he likes to chase them. He shows no aggression, he just wants to play. Once they bop him on the nose he leaves them alone.

Adoptable Dachshund Bowski

Children are a big NO go for Bowski. He has had some trauma in the past we believe and does not like children and has been known to bite them. It’s important that any potential adopter understands this fact and protects accordingly so that he can live happily ever after.

Adoptable Dachshund Bowski

He loves a walk and when he gets his harness on and knows its time for a walk he gets excited, but still stays slightly calm. He may get distracted easily on walks, because he’s still very young. But he does well walking beside you. With practice, he’ll reach perfection. He is a good boy!

Bowski

We classify him as house-trained, although he has had a few accidents. He’s such a smart boy, he’s learned very quickly despite changes to his environment. He’s eager to please!

Bowski

Bowski is crate-trained. He comes and goes as he pleases in his foster home and will crawl in there to relax. This pup is a real lover boy who enjoys sleeping on the big bed as close as he can under the covers and uses a ramp onto the bog bed with ease, which he learned very quickly. He also takes naps in his little dog bed.

While not aggressive, he enjoys playing tug of war with his squishy toys. Lebowski is very calm in the car and enjoys going on adventures.

Adoptable Dachshund Bowski

Although he loves adults, he will bark at first very loudly when meeting new people, but that tail is always wagging! He’s good when meeting new dogs. When entering his fosters home he was as cool as cucumber with his foster siblings.

In our care he has received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Nails Trimmed
