🐾 Meet Savannah — A Sweet & Gentle Girl Looking for Her Forever Home! 🐾
Savannah is a beautiful 6-year-old female dachshund weighing 14.4 lbs. who is ready to find a family to love her just as much as she’ll love them. 💕 This gentle little lady is all about the simple pleasures in life—sleeping in, cozy naps, cuddles, kisses, and being close to her favorite humans.
🏡 About Savannah
- 🎂 Age: 6 years old
- ⚖️ Weight: 14.4 lbs.
- 🐶 Breed: Dachshund
- 💗 Personality: Sweet, gentle, affectionate & friendly
- 🛏️ Loves cozy dog beds—and sleeping under the blankets with her foster!
- 😘 Kisses and cuddles are non-negotiable!

🐕 Dogs, Cats & Kids
Savannah does well with calm, smaller dogs and is friendly when meeting new small dogs. She does not like big dogs, and we are unsure how she would do with cats or children.
🦮 Walks & Leash Manners
Savannah is good on a leash and loves going for walks! She is still recovering from surgery, so for now she takes things slowly. Once she is fully recovered, she may be ready for a little more adventure—but she’s perfectly happy taking life at her own pace.
And Savannah has one important opinion you should know about: wet grass is definitely NOT her favorite thing! 😂🌧️🌱
🏠 House Training & Home Life
Savannah is still working on her house training. She is about halfway there but is still having quite a few accidents, so her new family will need to be patient and consistent while she continues learning.
Her crate-training experience is unknown, but she happily uses dog beds. She likes being near her humans but is also comfortable settling down and sleeping in her own bed.
At night, Savannah currently sleeps with her foster—and if you let her, she’ll happily burrow right under the blankets! 🛏️💗

If your perfect dog is one who wants to curl up beside you, shower you with kisses, burrow under the blankets, and enjoy lazy mornings together, Savannah might just be your girl. 🥰
