Looking for a playful, affectionate, and adventurous companion? Meet Ryder! This handsome 5-year-old Dachshund mix is full of personality, love, and playful energy!

Ryder has been an absolute joy in his foster home! He brings so much fun and excitement to everyday life that he even taught his 6-year-old Rottweiler foster sibling how to hunt for lizards! 🦎

Ryder would thrive with an active family who enjoys getting out and about and wants a four-legged companion to join in on the fun!

• 🐕 Small Dogs: Gets along great!

• 🐕‍🦺 Large Dogs: Gets along great!

• 🐱 Cats: Good with cats! Initially chased his foster’s cat, but after being corrected, he learned to leave the cat alone.

• 🧒 Children 12 & Older: Good!

🏡 House Training & Sleeping

• ✅ Housetrained: Yes! Ryder is completely housebroken.

• 🏠 Crate Trained: Yes! He stays comfortably in his crate when his foster is away and sometimes even goes inside on his own.

• 🛏️ Dog Beds: Enjoys relaxing in dog beds.

• 💤 Sleeping Arrangements: Sleeps with his foster and especially loves curling up on pillows right next to them!

• 🐾 Walks nicely on a leash.

• 👃 Loves sniffing everything and leaving his scent along the way!

• 🚗 Always ready to jump in for a car ride!
