Oscar – 1.5 years, 22 lbs.
Oscar is a fun loving guy who enjoys cuddling. He likes his brother, but needs a little time to get to know people. Once you have his trust, he’s a pal for life. While he would enjoy finding a home with his brother, Felix, the right home where he can enjoy additional socialization training is the most important thing.

Felix – 1.5 yrs, 20 lbs
Felix enjoys cuddling with his human, playing with his brother, and is overall a very good boy. While he is emotionally attached to his brother, they are not truly bonded where they depend on each other. They can be adopted seperately, if a home cannot be found for them together.
Oscar & Felix are both housetrained and do very well when kept on a regular potty schedule. Felix is quick to go outside, while Oscar likes to take his time exploring first. They can be left alone for a few hours without accidents and are typically gated in the kitchen when their foster is away. They are not crate trained, but they love cozy dog beds and especially love burrowing under blankets and covers.
These boys enjoy walks, ride wonderfully in the car, and absolutely love snuggling and napping. During the day they cuddle in their bed, but at night they would much rather sleep in bed with their humans.
Oscar & Felix are shy and fearful around new people and will need a patient adopter committed to continued socialization. Oscar tends to start barking when meeting strangers, and Felix joins in. Their barking and anxiety have already improved in foster care, but they still need reassurance and understanding while they continue gaining confidence.

Adoptable Dachshunds Oscar and Felix are 1 1/2 years, and weigh 22 lbs. and 20 lbs., respectively. Though young, the boys would prefer to stay together and are looking for a family that will give them the patience, love, and security they deserve. In return, they will reward you with endless affection, companionship, cuddles, and loyalty. If an appropriate home cannot be found for them together, we will adopt them seperately. While they have a bond, they are not officially BONDED/dependent on each other. Adoption Fee $800 for both.
If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
