Ginger (Female – 11 lbs) and Snickers (Male – 16 lbs) are two 10-year-old dachshunds with hearts as big as their love for naps and snuggles. These bonded best friends are looking for a forever home together – because where one goes, the other follows ❤️
Their Personalities: Ginger is your laid-back girl – she prefers a quick potty break and then it’s straight back to her cozy spot. Snickers, on the other hand, enjoys a nice stroll and is always ready when it’s time to explore. Together, they balance each other perfectly.
Their Ideal Home:
- Ginger & Snickers would thrive in a calm and loving home. Due to their age, they’d likely be happiest with older, calmer children who understand gentle interactions.
- A yard isn’t necessary – they’re more couch potatoes than marathon runners -but they do enjoy short walks together and must stay as a pair 💕

A Few Things to Know:
🐾 Must be adopted together (they are deeply bonded)
🐾 Prefer to go out every 3–4 hours
🐾 Do best riding in a crate in the car
🐾 Snickers is very food motivated and will need a little supervision at mealtime
Vetting and Medical
In our care, Ginger & Snickers have received vet checks, nail trimming, skin treatments, and major dental cleaning. They are on monthly heartworm preventatives.

If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
