Adoptable Mix Cami is a beautiful, 6-year old, dachshund mix who likes people and other dogs. Although shy at first, she is always sweet. It’s unknown how she does with children and cats, although she likes other dogs and it’s not likely that she would be a problem around supervised children.
This smart girl is house-trained and has had no accidents in her foster home. She is crate trained and sleeps both in a dog bed and in the big bed with her people. She prefers the big bed and has been insistent on sleeping there.
Cami is not food or toy aggressive. She is very timid when meeting new people and needs to warm up to you, but she will let you pick her up and she’ll come to you. She was very scared when she first came to Low Rider. She found a safe spot and with lots of love and attention, after a couple days, she started coming out. Now, she has the run of the house but can still be a little bit skittish.
In our care she has received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication, microchip.

Cami is the sweetest dog. She is quiet and doesn’t bark. She’s a beautiful brindle with very soft fur. She is housetrained and crate trained she’s just a joy to be around. Cami will make somebody a wonderful addition to their family if they’re willing to give her a little time, and extra attention until she feels totally comfortable. Adoption fee $250

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
