Meet Greta and Heidi, a lovable bonded pair of female Dachshunds looking for a forever family to love them together! Greta is 6 years old and weighs 16 lbs., while Heidi is 10 years old and weighs 16.5 lbs. These sweet girls have formed a wonderful bond and are hoping to find a home where they can stay side by side for the rest of their lives.

🏡 House Training

These girls are making wonderful progress with potty training in their foster home.

Greta does very well using pee pads for urinating, although she’s still working on getting all of her poops on the pad. She will need continued consistency and patience as she learns that outside is the place to potty.

Heidi has shown impressive improvement in a short time. During her first 15 days in foster care, she progressed to going potty outside successfully about half the time during the last several days. With continued routine and encouragement, she is well on her way!

Greta is an incredibly sweet girl who loves playing with her toys. She has a healthy appetite, enjoys treats, and is always happy to spend time with her people. She’ll thrive with a family willing to continue her potty training while showering her with love.

💕 Heidi

Heidi is just as sweet and enjoys playing with toys right alongside Greta. She has responded very well to potty training and continues to make excellent progress. Like Greta, she enjoys mealtime and never turns down a tasty treat!

🩺 Veterinary Care

Greta and Heidi have both received:

• Vet check
• Heartworm test
• Flea and heartworm prevention

They are also scheduled to receive their vaccines and dental cleanings on August 11.
