Sweet little Piper is looking for a loving forever home! At just 1½ years old and 12 pounds, she’s a young girl with lots of love to give—and a little bit of puppy mischief still mixed in. ❤️
🐶 Other Animals
Piper loves other animals and enjoys having furry friends around. She would be a great fit for a home with other pets.
👨👩👧 People & Children
Piper is good with people, although she can be a little slow to warm up at first. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet and cuddly personality comes shining through.
She tends to be more relaxed around women than men. She isn’t afraid of men—she simply seems to prefer the ladies!
Piper has not been around children while in foster care, so her experience with children is unknown.
🏡 House Training
Piper is not yet house trained, so her new family will need to continue working with her and be patient while she learns.
If you have a doggie door, she’s already comfortable going in and out of one!
🛋️ Cuddles & Sleeping
Piper is definitely a little cuddle bug! ❤️ She loves curling up with her person or relaxing on the couch.
Given the choice, she’ll happily snuggle with you, but she will sleep in her own dog bed if she has to. 😂
🏠 Home Alone
One of Piper’s great qualities is that she does very well when left home alone.
She is still young, though, and hasn’t completely outgrown those puppy habits. Piper may get into things and chew up something she shouldn’t if given the opportunity.
And shoes? 👟 Let’s just say Piper thinks they make excellent collectibles! 😂 Keeping tempting items out of reach while she continues learning her house manners will be important.

💕 Piper’s Perfect Home
Piper would love a family that understands she’s still a young dog with a few things to learn. She’ll need patience and consistency with potty training and puppy manners, along with plenty of love and cuddles.
Give her a little time to get comfortable, and you’ll discover a sweet, affectionate little girl who loves her people, loves other animals, and would be very happy curled up beside you on the couch.

If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it. BE SURE to include the ID NUMBER!
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
