Jojo is a young, happy Dachshund with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This handsome little guy is a total love bug who wants nothing more than to be by his person’s side. He’s a true velcro dog who will happily follow you from room to room, making sure he never misses out on the fun. When he’s not snuggling with his people, you’ll find him happily emptying his toy basket and spreading his favorite toys all over the house!

🐶 Dog Friendly

• Loves other small dogs and enjoys being around them.
• Has met dogs through a fence and has always been friendly.
• The neighborhood dogs he’s met have mostly been older and not interested in playing, but Jojo would love a playful canine companion.
• Has not been tested with large dogs, but his foster believes he would do well with proper introductions.

🚶 Exercise & Training

• Enjoys going for walks.
• Currently working on leash manners. He can pull because he’s excited to explore everything around him.
• Potty trained. He had a few accidents when he first arrived but has settled into a good routine. His adopter should be prepared to learn his potty schedule to help him continue his success.

💤 Sleeping

• Loves his dog bed but would much rather sleep with his person if given the chance. Just be prepared—he somehow manages to take up three-quarters of the bed!

🍽️ Temperament

• Not food aggressive.
• Not toy aggressive.
• Loves toys and keeps himself entertained by carrying them all around the house.

• Enjoys riding in the car.

❤️ Personality

Jojo is friendly and outgoing with both people and other dogs. He may bark and jump up when meeting someone new, but with a calm, slow introduction he quickly settles in and is eager to make friends. He is confident, affectionate, and shows no signs of separation anxiety. During thunderstorms he simply wants to be close and be held for reassurance.

Jojo does bark when his foster leaves or returns home, but otherwise is simply a happy, social little guy who loves being involved in whatever his family is doing.
