Adoptable Chihuahua mix Lillipup is a tiny survivor with a huge heart! This 4-year-old, 9 pound girl has overcome more than most pups ever will – she was hit by a car and suffered a broken tail (which had to be amputated) and a traumatic brain injury. But you’d never know it now! Lillipup made an incredible recovery and is living her best life, full of love, cuddles, and sunshine ☀️
Lillipup absolutely adores her humans – she’d happily spend all day curled up in your lap or sleeping in the big bed by your side. She’s a world-class snuggler and a total lovebug.

Lillipup’s Forever Home Checklist ✅:
- Lillipup likes other small dogs but prefers human attention. She’d do great as a solo pup or with one or two laid-back, low-energy dogs. She’s learned to coexist with large dogs, but would be much happier in a home without them.
- She’s done well during short interactions with children of various ages. If her forever home includes little ones, they’ll need to understand how to respect a small dog’s boundaries.
- This little lady prefers to sleep in the big bed with her people, but she’ll happily settle in her own cozy space, if needed.
Lillipup walks beautifully on leash and loves going for strolls around the neighborhood. She’s house trained, with just the occasional nighttime accident. She’s crate trained but doesn’t need to be crated, she does perfectly fine free roaming when left alone. She’s an amazing passenger and truly enjoys car rides, she’ll happily join you for adventures!

Lillipup has not been exposed to cats since coming to the rescue so we are unsure how she would react.
Lillipup is not shy or timid, she doesn’t show any signs of anxiety. She is calm and relaxed when left alone. She hardly ever barks and hasn’t shown any food nor toy aggression.

Vetting and Medical
In our care, Lillipup has received vet checks, vaccines, dental exam, and nail trimming. Lillipup is on monthly heartworm preventatives and has been spayed.
We depend on donations from caring people, like you, to make a difference in the lives of dogs. As an all volunteer organization, you can rest assured that the donations go directly to help the dogs. Thank you!
