Adoptable Mix Honey (Pending Adoption, please don’t apply)

Meet Adoptable Mix Honey – your sweetest little shadow. At just 1 year old and 11 pounds, Honey is the perfect little companion who wants nothing more than to be close to her person.

If you’re looking for a loyal “velcro dog” who will happily curl up next to you on the couch, follow you around the house, and soak up all the love you have to give, Honey might just be your girl.

Honey has settled beautifully into foster care and has shown everyone what a calm, affectionate, and adaptable pup she is.

Honey’s Forever Home Checklist ✅:
– A home where she is an only dog, she get’s along with other dogs outside of the home but prefers her kingdom to herself
– A home without cats
– A home with a secure fenced yard

About Honey:

House trained – She’s been wonderful about going outside and can hold it for quite a while. She’ll even let you know when she needs to go!
Crate trained – Honey sleeps peacefully in her crate next to the bed (with her cozy comforter!) and usually has to be woken up in the morning.
Great on a leash – She sits politely for her harness and walks proudly and confidently.
Good when left alone – She stays baby-gated in the kitchen during the day without any issues.
Gentle and sweet – Takes treats softly and is perfectly fine with people taking toys or food.
Loves people – She may take a minute to warm up when meeting someone new, but soon her tail starts wagging and she’s ready for affection.

Honey has no signs of anxiety and is a generally calm girl who simply wants love and praise. She enjoys being brushed, does well during bath time, and is just starting to discover how fun toys can be.

💛 Her Ideal Home

Honey would do best as the only dog in the home and without cats. While she can walk calmly alongside other dogs outdoors, she prefers to have her space inside the home and would rather soak up all the attention herself.

Honey also isn’t a runner and tends to stay close to her people, but she would still do best with a secure fenced yard.

🐶 What Honey Really Wants

Honey’s biggest wish is simple: A soft place to relax and a human to love.

She wants to sit right next to you (or in your lap!), watch the world go by, go for nice walks, and be your little companion through the day.

In less than a week, her foster family completely fell in love with her – and once you meet her, you’ll understand why.

Vetting and Medical

In our care, Honey has received a vet check, and is on monthly heartworm medication. Vet Check, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Heart Worm testing and medication

We depend on donations from caring people, like you, to make a difference in the lives of dogs. As an all volunteer organization, you can rest assured that the donations go directly to help the dogs. Thank you!
