Adoptable Mix Daisy – If you’re looking for a smart, spunky sidekick with a whole lot of heart, Daisy might just be your perfect match. This 4-year-old dachshund mix is equal parts cuddle bug and queen bee, and she’s ready to find a home where she can be a solo dog that will let her shine.

Personality & Home Life
Daisy is a confident little lady with alpha energy and a playful spirit. She gets along with other dogs but prefers to be in charge, especially around dogs her age. She’s respectful of boundaries and has been sweet with the elder dog in her foster home. However, she doesn’t mesh well with cats—she’ll bark and chase them—so a feline-free home is best.
As for kids, we’re not quite sure how she’d do, so we recommend a home without young children unless properly introduced and supervised.
Daisy loves her people. She’s a shadow dog, always wanting to be wherever you are. She’ll melt right into you on the couch when it’s cuddle time—just as long as her foster sibling isn’t already in the prime snuggle spot. She’s surprisingly respectful of those social cues and knows when to wait her turn for attention.

Energy & Training
Daisy is a natural-born explorer who lives for her “hunting walks.” While she’s great on a leash, walks are more for tracking scents than doing her business. She would be happy with a home that has a fenced in yard. Potty training is a work in progress—she reliably uses pee pads but doesn’t yet signal when she needs to go out. She’s very smart though and could absolutely learn with consistency and patience.
She sleeps peacefully in a dog bed or snuggled up with her foster. She’ll eat in her crate but doesn’t love being closed in—it’s not her happy place.

Adoptable Mix Daisy – 4 yrs, 18 lbs
Daisy would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention or share space with a calm, respectful dog. A secure backyard for zoomies is a must, and her new humans will need to be mindful of her door-dashing tendencies. She’s still working on potty training and recall, but she’s eager to please and clever enough to learn quickly.
Daisy is a gem of a dog with just enough sass to make life interesting. She’s affectionate, playful, and so ready for a forever home that will give her the love—and long walks—she craves. Adoption fee $250.
If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
