Adoptable Dachshund Latte is a 3-year-old Dachshund weighing just 10 pounds, and she is truly as sweet as her name suggests.
This little girl is an absolute joy to be around. She is affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she’s curled up next to her people. If you’re looking for a true lap dog who loves cuddles, Latte might just be your perfect match.
Latte is also a wonderful mix of playful and relaxed. She loves toys, enjoys playing fetch, and is always happy to go for a walk. After some playtime or a nice stroll, her favorite place is basking in the sun or snuggled up on your lap.
A little about Latte:
- 🐶 Dog friendly: Gets along well with both small and large dogs and enjoys being close to her foster’s Labrador.
- 👧 Kid friendly: She likes children and has a gentle nature.
- 🐕 Great on a leash: Latte loves taking walks and does very well on leash.

- 💤 Crate trained, though she prefers being out and close to her people.
- 🛏️ Loves sleeping in a dog bed or cuddled up with her humans and dog friends.

- 🦴 No food or toy aggression.
- 🤍 Friendly meeting new people and new dogs (she may be a little shy at first but warms up quickly).
- 🔇 Not an excessive barker.
Latte has a gentle, loving personality and will thrive in a home where she can get lots of affection, companionship, and cozy cuddle time.
Vetting and Medical
In our care, Latte has received a vet check, vaccines, a dental exam, nail trimming, and is on monthly heartworm preventatives. While with the rescue, Latte had a benign tumor removed, a major dental and was spayed.
We depend on donations from caring people, like you, to make a difference in the lives of dogs. As an all volunteer organization, you can rest assured that the donations go directly to help the dogs. Thank you!

If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
