Struddles Von Weinersnitzel is an adoptable mix, 10 year old, 13 pound, female sweetheart who needs a forever home.
Struddles gets along with other dogs, big and small. A large dog would need to be calm and gentle to assure Struddles doesn’t get hurt. Even with cats, Struddles doesn’t chase, she observes from a close distance. She’s a gentle soul.
Although she would get along well enough with all children, a home with adults and older kids would be best because she is a small senior.
Struddles walks well on a leash with a harness and is house trained. She will go to the door to signal potty time. Struddles also knows how to go in and out of a doggie door.
She will go into a crate, but prefers to not to. When left alone without using the crate and has not exhibited any destructive behavior or had any accidents.
Struddles loves to sleep right next to her human on the bed. She is comfy with a blanket on her. During the day she will be on the couch or in a soft dog bed sleeping the day away.
She doesn’t show any signs of aggression and is fine with her food. She doesn’t really know what toys are right now or seems to have no genuine interest in them.
Struddles rides well in the car and will settle in car and sleep until her destination. She enjoys meeting new people, her tail is always wagging. She is very friendly, the perfect companion.

When it comes to other dogs, Struddles minds her own business, they don’t bother her. Struddles will be shy at first, but it doesn’t take her long to attach herself to a human. She is very loving. Even though she is initially shy, there haven’t been any signs of anxiety.
She’s had a Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Skin treatments/ infections, Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication.
With your first look at Struddles you will fall in love. She really is the perfect dog. She comes when called, and is by your side at all times. Struddles is just looking for someone to love her. She is 10, but active. Struddles will run around the back yard trying to get the squirrels and have fun just sniffing the smells. Loves to go on walks and doesn’t mind car rides. She is such a joy to be around!

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
