Adoptable mix Waffles is ***ADOPTED***a precious male mix – appearing to be some terrier and what we call “dachshund wanna-be”. He’s only 3 years old and is a 10-pound bundle of love. Waffles is a little 3-legged wonder dog!

When he came to Low Rider, he had a badly injured leg that had never healed properly. The Vet recommended that it be amputated, but this little guy hasn’t missed a single beat!
Waffles loves to run and play. He’s adjusted extremely well to life with only 3 legs. This super pup is super smart and even though he WANTS to race out the door, he will stop and obey your command. He’s a really good boy!
Getting along with other dogs has not been a problem for Waffles, although some aggressive large dogs may scare him. He most definitely is more interested in people and spending time with his human. Waffles likes the human connection and enjoys being cuddled in your lap.
He loves to go for rides in the car and is adjusting well to walking on a leash with his new 3-legged gait. Although he would likely love to sleep in bed with his humans, he currently sleeps in his dog bed.
Waffles adores playing with toys, being active, and most of all – being with his human! He’s looking for a home where the number of legs he has doesn’t matter and he can spend plenty of time with you living a happy life!

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
