Adoptable Doxie Sonny

Sonny, a seven-year-old Doxie weighing in at 19lbs, has a heart as big as his love for cuddles. He adores other dogs and has seamlessly integrated into a pack of four Doxies, proving his friendly nature towards his furry friends. While he hasn’t had the chance to interact with big dogs or cats, his positive experiences with other dogs bode well for potential introductions to new furry family members.

When it comes to children, Sonny’s affection knows no bounds. He enjoys playing ball with his foster’s four-year-old nephew, showcasing his gentle and playful side with young ones. He’s equally comfortable around older kids, making him a versatile companion for families of all ages.

Sonny excels on walks, displaying good leash manners and enthusiasm for outdoor adventures. He’s fully house-trained and will alert you when nature calls, ensuring minimal accidents indoors. At night, Sonny prefers to snuggle up close, either in his own bed or alongside his foster family, proving himself to be a true cuddle bug.

While Sonny may initially exhibit signs of shyness or anxiety, particularly when separated from his human, he quickly adjusts and becomes a devoted and loyal companion. He has been known to vocalize his feelings by howling when left alone, but with time and reassurance, he settles into a routine and eagerly awaits your return.
