Adoptable Doxie Buffalo – Adopted

Adoptable Doxie Buffalo

Adoptable Doxie Buffalo is one cool dude with some luxurious locks. He is completely blind, but that doesn’t bother him the slightest bit. When he isn’t jamming to punk rock or exploring, Buffalo loves to lounge in his bed or sit on the couch with his foster mom and binge Netflix. He may be 14, but he is a spunky and loving guy!

Adoptable Doxie Buffalo

Buffalo is completely blind, but handles this incredibly well. Even our vet was impressed with how he handles it. He has no fear whatsoever and carries on as if nothing is wrong at all. Still, we want to be sure that his future home understands that he is blind and should be approached with care to not startle him.

More About Buffalo

Buffalo loves everyone he encounters. He even enjoys vet visits because he gets loved on. He’s friendly with people and dogs alike!

He enjoys car rides and is not food or toy aggressive. He is house trained and crate trained. Buffalo will bark when he needs to go outside, but mostly uses pee pads which he is trained to use. He sleeps in a dog bed.

Buffalo

Buffalo doesn’t mind any of his foster sibling dogs, but especially loves the other foster doxie, Rosie. It’s likely he would be okay as the only dog if his owner will be with him the majority of the time but he would also be fine with other dogs.

He’s had a Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Minor Surgery (such as removal of benign cyst), Nails Trimmed, Heart Worm testing and medication, Major Dental (cleaning and removal) in our care.

Buffalo enjoys short walks and is good on a leash. We don’t know how he would react to cats or small children. We believe he’ll do best in a home with older people and maybe a dog or two.

If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.

The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
