Adoptable Dachshund Wonder is such a “wonderfully fabulous” dog. She is affectionate and good natured and enjoys playing with her foster siblings in the yard. She sleeps next to them on the big bed. Wonder learned quickly the daily routine.
She immediately runs to the door, first thing in the morning, to go out and do her business. Then she sits and waits for breakfast. Wonder njoys her meals and has shown no aggression when other dog goes near her while eating. Fully house trained, she has been on a good schedule in her foster home and goes out several times each day. She loves to go for walks.
When meeting new people, she is a bit timid and shy. Her barking is appropriate and extremely “dachshund” as she will bark at the door when people pass by or come to visit.
A smart girl, she knows to use the ramps to get up and down the couch and bed. Wonder will run to the car to go for a ride but is nervous when driving. She’s a real sweetheart who will be a loving addition to a fortune family .
In our care she has received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Skin treatments/ infections, Nails Trimmed, Heart Worm testing and medication. Wonder came to Low Rider with a skin infection…she was given a shot and put on antibiotics…her fur is growing back nicely.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
