Adoptable Dachshund Maggie Mae – Adopted

Adoptable Dachshund Maggie Mae – Sweet girl Maggie Mae is what we call a “velcro” dog. She loves her person and prefers to be by their side most of the day. She will sleep with you and follow you around the house. Time spent cuddling on the couch is what she likes best. We think she will thrive in a home where her person is home much of the day.

Adoptable Dachshund Maggie Mae

This ten-year-old dachshund is up to date on her vetting and is not on any medication. She is house-trained and knows how to use a doggy door. She knows how to walk on leash if needed. Foster mom believes her previous home crated Maggie Mae. She now stays out when left alone and sleeps in the big bed.

Time will be needed for Maggie Mae to warm up to you. She is timid around strangers, new dogs and unknown situations. She currently lives with other foster siblings and doesn’t mind them, however, she doesn’t prefer cats and will chase them given the opportunity. Foster mom thinks it would be best that Maggie Mae is placed in a home without small children.

Adoptable Dachshund Maggie Mae – 10 yrs, 20 lbs.

Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
