Adoptable Dachshund Dottie- Apopted

Adoptable Dachshund Dottie is happy to be around her foster siblings as long as they don’t get near her food bowl, this girl takes eating seriously! Dottie isn’t food aggressive, but we do feed her separately as she is very greedy with food and will try to steal her foster siblings dinner which then becomes an issue.

As a matter of fact, she isn’t aggressive at all. She’s good with other dogs and people alike. Dottie is a sweetheart who even gets along with cats!

Dottie likes to sleep on a dog bed on the floor next to her fosters bed, but is happy to come up onto the bed for cuddles and kisses. She’s an affectionate pup but not afraid to be independent at times either.

In our care she has received: Vet Check, Nails Trimmed

Not showing any signs of separation anxiety, Dottie barks appropriately with her crew and then also when dinner is being prepared. She doesn’t bark excessively.

Her foster family began working on house training and progress has been made. She needs more time in her new environment to get the hang of things fully. Dottie enjoys walking on the leash and is really good at it, staying right by her person like a good girl. Frequent walks will aid in her house training.

Adoptable Dachshund Dottie

Dottie is a very loving little girl who loves to be with her people and enjoys other dogs. She loves to snuggle and give lots of kisses, she is a very easy going little girl. An owner who will lovingly help her lose weight by feeding her smaller meals (diet food initially) and get plenty of exercise will be best for her. She needs additional work on house training, but LOVES to go for walks. Someone who is around a lot during the day and can take her out frequently would be ideal. Adoption fee $300
