๐พ Meet Adoptable Dachshund Chino โ A Smart, Playful Boy Looking for His Perfect Match! ๐พ
Age: 1 Year
Weight: 17 lbs.
Chino is a handsome young Dachshund with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He thrives on routine, enjoys learning new things, and is highly food motivated, making him a great candidate for continued training. Whether he’s playing fetch, lounging beside the glass sliders watching the world go by, or cuddling up with his favorite person, Chino is happiest when he’s close to those he trusts.
Because Chino is naturally timid and easily frightened, he is looking for a patient, understanding family that will give him the time he needs to build confidence. Once he feels safe, his affectionate, loyal personality truly shines.

๐ถ Chino’s Personality
- Loves to cuddle and be close to his person
- Playful and intelligent
- Food motivated and eager to learn
- Enjoys playing fetch and is learning to bring the ball back

- Crate trained. He does cry, but he is used to being in it and needs to be crated when unsupervised. Does not want to be left alone
- Sleeps well in his own dog bed. At night he is on his dog bed, in the foster’s bedroom
- Would happily sleep in bed with his person, if allowed
- Enjoys car rides
- Not good on leash or walking yet, barks and pulls. May bark the entire walk. Heโs learning how to walk better on the leash, but needs more patience and training
๐พ Other Pets & Children

Chino would be amazing as an โonlyโ dog. Heโs very loving, playful, and adorable! He enjoys playing with his toys, running around the yard, chasing lizards, and lots of attention and love! He would thrive in a home with a yard and an owner that could be home frequently to give him the extra training and love he so needs. Adoption Fee: $400
