Adoptable Dachshund Bonded Pair Camo & Choco – a dynamic dachshund duo looking for their FURever home!
Choco (9.5 years old) and Camo (9 years old) are an adorable bonded pair of Dachshunds who must be adopted together. At about 18 pounds each, these two are the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and easygoing companions.
They’ve settled beautifully into their foster home and have proven to be well-mannered house guests. Both boys are house trained, crate trained, and great on leash, making walks and daily routines a breeze. They enjoy car rides, love curling up in their dog beds, and often choose to sleep close to their foster for extra snuggles.
Choco and Camo are friendly and social, happily greeting new people and other dogs. They do well with other dogs (including big dogs!) and, according to their original owner, they’ve also lived with cats and children. They’d likely do best with kids 12 and up who understand how to respect their space.
These two are confident little guys – not shy or timid – and they love being part of the action. Like many dachshunds, they are vocal and bark to announce visitors or exciting moments. They also share a strong bond with their people and can show some separation anxiety, so a home where someone is around often would make them happiest. They get along wonderfully with both people and other dogs.

Vetting and Medical
In our care, Camo and Choco have received vet check, vaccines, dental exam, nail trimming, Camo and Choco are on monthly heartworm preventatives and have received major dental cleaning and removal.
We depend on donations from caring people, like you, to make a difference in the lives of dogs. As an all volunteer organization, you can rest assured that the donations go directly to help the dogs. Thank you!

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
