Adoptable dachshund Bella – Meet Bella. She is a mostly black, black and tan senior girl 14 years old and weighs about 12 pounds.
Bella is very quiet and reserved but very loving girl. She rarely barks and loves to sit next to you on the couch, content to be petted as much as you are willing to give her.
She does well in her crate and sleeps all night without incident. Around 6:30 AM she will give one bark to let you know it is time to get up and take her outside. Bella is about 80% house trained and does best on a schedule, however a home with a yard/doggie door might offer more flexibility.
Bella gets along with other dogs and cats. Kids are unknown however with her very quiet and sedate nature active children would not be recommended. She walks very well on the leash and seems to enjoy her time outside. Bella is slightly hard of hearing but does hear and respond.
