Adoptable Dachshund Baby: If you’re looking for a girl with a zest for life, look no further! Five-year-old Baby loves going for walks and does very well on a leash. She likes to say hello the neighborhood children and receive pets.
Foster mom describes her temperament, “she greets every day like it’s a miracle”. She has a bright personality and is a happy girl. Baby is extremely affectionate and will sit on you every time you sit down and follow on your heels as you move around the house.
Baby sleeps in a crate at night, however, foster mom thinks she will sleep in the big bed with you if you allow her. This smart girl knows “sit”, “stay”, “wait” and “heel”.
Baby doesn’t mind other dogs and doesn’t seem to be bothered by outdoor cats. She has not lived with another cat. Baby is friendly with new people and children. Foster mom thinks she would do well in a home with an active family.

Baby is an easy-going girl. She is house-trained, potty-trained and enjoys riding in the car. She also has been fully vetted and is not on any current medications. Don’t pass this girl up! She’s a definite sweetheart well deserving of a forever home.

Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
