🐕 Dog, Cat & Kid Friendly?
🐾 Other Small Dogs: Yes! Jiffy gets along wonderfully with other small dogs. He enjoys playing with them throughout the day and happily curls up near them at bedtime.
🐕 Larger Dogs: Unknown. He has done great with dogs up to about 27 pounds in his foster home.
🐱 Cats: Not recommended. Jiffy gets very excited around cats and loves to chase them as if they are playmates. He isn’t aggressive, but a cat-free home would be happiest for everyone.
👧 Children: Hasn’t shown any issues with children. He’s playful, curious, and friendly.
🚶 Walking & Exercise
Jiffy absolutely loves going for walks! He’s excited to explore the world and walks well on a leash, although he does pull and weave a bit since he hasn’t had much formal leash training. He’s a smart little guy and is already learning quickly with practice.
He also lets you know when he needs to go outside by sitting patiently by the door…though sometimes he may ask for an extra walk just because he enjoys them so much!
🏡 House Training & Home Life
✅ House trained
Jiffy has not been crate trained in his foster home, so it’s unknown how he’ll do in one. Because he adores being close to his humans, he’ll likely need some patience and positive reinforcement if crate training is desired.
He enjoys sleeping in a cozy dog bed but is happiest snuggled up in bed with his foster family whenever he gets the chance.
🍖 Food & Toys
Jiffy has shown no food or toy aggression.

🚗 Car Rides
Jiffy loves riding in the car! His favorite place, however, is in the driver’s lap—which isn’t safe—so his foster highly recommends using a secure dog car seat so he can enjoy every adventure safely.
❤️ Meeting New People & Dogs
Jiffy enjoys meeting other dogs and adjusted beautifully to his foster family’s pack.
With new people, he simply prefers a calm introduction. If someone approaches too quickly or seems threatening, his first instinct is to protect the people he loves. After a few moments, he settles in and becomes friendly. He’s a naturally loyal little watchdog with just enough protective instinct to let you know someone is nearby.
🎾 Personality
Jiffy is outgoing, affectionate, energetic, and absolutely devoted to his people. He wants to be wherever you are—on your lap, curled up on your chest, or following you from room to room.
Because he loves companionship so much, he’ll whine if separated from his favorite humans, although he settles down after a little while and has never shown destructive behavior.
He’ll also bark when he hears unusual noises, sirens, or even someone knocking on the TV, but he’s generally quiet overnight.
