Adoptable mix Shelby is an easy-going, lovable three-year-old girl. She enjoys cuddling on your lap while you read or watch tv. If you’re up for a play – Shelby is still active and likes to play. Foster mom says her fur is silky smooth and doesn’t shed a bit!
Love to travel? Shelby does well during car trips. She took a 400-mile trip with her foster pawrents and stayed in her car seat the entire time! Shelby is house-trained but shows her true doxie colors when the grass is wet. Shelby likes to sleep in her own doggy bed at night after she tucks herself in. She’s quite a good girl.

This care-free girl doesn’t show any signs of anxiousness when left alone, doesn’t bark much and enjoys meeting new people. She recently attended a large event with foster mom and other dogs and was well behaved. We can’t think of a reason not to love on this girl! She’s completely vetted and ready to go to her forever home.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
