Adoptable Mix Marley is a 3-year old, 11 pound beautiful mix dog whose favorite thing is snuggling! He gets along with other dogs. Marley is great with small dogs. He is skittish around large dogs but warms up to them with time. He would be fine placed with a calmer large dog, but prefers smaller dogs. He doesn’t seem to mind cats either.
He is house-trained. Marley is mostly housebroken but has had a couple of accidents. We are working on it. He is also crate-trained.
Marley is good on walks, and enjoys spending time outside on a walk. He gets along with older children and teens but we don’t know how he reacts to younger children. He’s a friendly dog, so as long as children are supervised, it’s likely he would do fine.
Sleeping in bed with his fosters makes him very happy. Marley loves to cuddle and be close, but he also sleeps in his own little dog bed. Of course, that’s mostly during the day when he can’t cuddle up so much!
He isn’t food or toy aggressive and does fine meeting new dogs and new people alike. Marley was scared and growled when introduced to the foster families large dogs, He is timid meeting new large dogs, but settled in and doesn’t mind them now. He loves playing with smaller dogs. Marley is very friendly when meeting new people, but can be shy.
Adoptable Mix Marley
Marley does not like being alone as he isn’t accustomed to it at all. He doesn’t have severe separation anxiety, but he did scratch at the door trim and shred a blanket when left alone in a guest bedroom. He is fine when out in the house with other dogs.
Loud storms bother him, Marley does shake and bark some when it storms, but nothing extreme. He doesn’t bark excessively. Marley only barks when left completely alone or sometimes when crated, which we are working on.

He would make a fantastic Netflix bingeing partner but also would enjoy an evening stroll at the park. Marley is playful and enjoys the company of other small dogs. The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
