Adoptable Mix Brodi – Adopted

Brodi

Adoptable Mix Brodi is sweet and sociable with humans even in new situations. As a matter of fact, she’ll solicite a belly rub immediately! She tends to bark at dogs, but that’s how she talks. When properly introduced, it’s reported that she did fine with other dogs in a past home. It is unknown as to how she would do with cats.

Adoptable Mix Brodi

Great on walks, she’ll walk slowly and will take her time (probably due to her age). She loves to just sit on the grass and watch the world go by. Brodi is house trained and does very well on a routine. She has not been crated during her time in our foster home. Car rides tend to make her nervous.

Adoptable Mix Brodi

She has a regular routine. She wakes up early, around 7 am, goes to bed around 10. Brodi sleeps with her foster parent and is not a big fan of the dog bed. She has some separation anxiety that has improved once getting used to her foster home.

Like most dachshunds, Brodi is highly food motivated but has shown no signs of food or toy aggression. She’s a happy-go-lucky girl!

Adoptable Mix Brodi

In our care she has received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Spay or Neuter, Skin treatments/ infections, Nails Trimmed, Heart Worm testing and medication, Major Dental (cleaning and removal). She has allergies and can obsessively lick her paws. She is on a daily apoquel maintenance to prevent her scratching.

Adoptable Mix Brodi – 13 yrs, 16 lbs

Miss B is a wonderful companion. She’s quite active and youthful for her age. She wakes up with a spring in her step and will follow you around all day. She likes to take multiple slow walks per day, taking her sweet time to sniff around and sit on the grass. She is super sociable and a “people person” – taking her to parks and dog beaches won’t be a problem – she loves it! She’ll say hello to everyone, kids and adults alike, but needs proper introduction to other dogs. If you want a pup that’s calm, behaved, and sociable around other people – Brodi is the perfect one for you. Adoption fee $150

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.

The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
