Adoptable mix Graham is an amazing little pup who is a joy to be around and just loves his humans once he gets used to them and trusts them. He needs time to trust and patience to show you that he will absolutely come out of his shell.
Once he’s comfortable around you and his new environment his adorable, sweet personality comes out. This may take a few days or even a week. Once Graham feels safe, he is the most spunky, funny, loving and gentle little soul who will kiss you to death and never leave your side.
Graham absolutely loves to play with toys and loves playing with his foster sister’s, when they feel like playing. He gets very excited near any small dog and wants to be their best friend right away.
He prefers female humans over male humans. He seems to be more afraid of any male humans that go near him. They initially make him very uncomfortable. Graham was great with kids and has been observed with a 7 year old and a 12 year old. He just loves to play with them once warmed up, sometimes getting too overly excited by jumping on them, but will stop immediately when told to do so.
Graham has been working very hard on a leash and is doing great! He still has accidents in the house but is puppy pad trained, so he’ll go on the pad. He loves sitting out on the porch watching birds, trees abd anything out there as long as his human is right by his side.
Once used to you Graham would prefer to sleep in the bed with his humans as he does with his foster parents but also needs a crate he can get to when he feels nervous, for his “safe place”. We keep the door open for him at all times with blankets and toys for him to have while there. In due time, he will put all his own toys in his crate once he’s used to his new surroundings. He will venture out more but this will take time.
Graham is still quite a puppy, so anything on the floor he thinks belongs to him. Picking everything up off the floor before you go to bed is a must. Otherwise, he will have fun playing with it while you’re sleeping. Books, shoes, remotes, if they are out where he can get it, it’s a toy to him.
He has been fully vetted, is up to date on vaccines, and has a microchip.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
