Adoptable Dachshund Beatrice – Adopted

Adoptable Dachshund Beatrice

Adoptable Dachshund Beatrice, also known as Bebe, is a 5-year-old, little, sweetheart that just wants to be loved. Before coming to her foster home at Low Rider, Beatrice was very timid, scared and had little attention given to her. Since being with foster mom, Beatrice has blossomed into a very loving girl. In order for her to continue to thrive, we are seeking a forever home for Beatrice where her family is home most of the day and the environment is calm. We believe Beatrice would benefit from another calm, smaller dog in the home.

We are unsure how Beatrice responds to larger dogs or cats. When meeting new people or dogs, Beatrice is a little timid at first. She warms up to you once she feels safe in her environment and sees her humans interacting with them.

Beatrice does well in the car and is a quiet traveler. Foster mom believes she’d make a good travel companion since she is so small, likes to be held and simply likes to be near her person.

At home, Beatrice is potty pad trained only. Foster mom is working on this with her. Beatrice also needs training to walk on a leash. She hasn’t had much experience going for walks. She prefers to sleep with her person; however, she will also reluctantly go in her crate. She is a quiet girl who only barks if the other dogs in the home begin barking.

When home alone, Beatrice will settle down with the other dogs. She does show anxiety when foster mom begins to leave the house. Thunder and loud noises also make her anxious. She likes to be held during storms.

Beatrice, Bebe, simply wants a home where she can be loved on. She prefers to sleep in between her people on the big bed. She wants to follow you around the home and sit on your lap. Belly rubs and cuddles are her favorite thing. She also loves to be carried like the sweet baby she is! This good girl has a lot of love to give and deserves a safe, forever home.

If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.

The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
