Adoptable Dachshund Barnie is the sweetest! He wants to sit on my lap every chance he gets. Barnie doesn’t meet a stranger. He would do best with another dog as enjoys the company. He might be 10 years of age, but he plays like he is much younger!

Barnie was a surrender as his owner could not afford his medical treatment. He recently was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease and because of this has to take daily, Vetoryl 30mg.
Since being on this medication for 3 weeks he is doing great! Hair returning on his tail and not drinking water excessive and peeing inside. He is overweight but has lost 2.5 lbs in 3 weeks.
Barnie is 10 years old, 22.5 pounds

The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
