Dachshund Pair AJ and Lilly – ADOPTED

Dachshund Pair AJ and Lilly are the best doggie duo! They are both senior pups & love spending their days lounging and cuddling with one another. Lilly hardly ever barks, AJ only really barks when he wants attention/wants to be let outside.

There are No signs of anxiety in either dog. They’ve been left alone free-roaming multiple times for up to 8-9 hours with no issues. Both really enjoy toys, especially Lilly! No food aggression for either, they get fed right next to one another.

He loves human interaction and would be content having belly rubs 24/7. He is so friendly with both humans and other pups & quickly became best friends with our two pups.

Lilly – 10 years, 17 pounds

Adoptable Pair AJ and Lilly

Lilly is the sweetest pup! She is a lazy girl who loves lounging around the house and switching from dog bed to dog bed for her naps. She absolutely loves her brother AJ and is always cuddling with him.

Adoptable Pair AJ and Lilly

Fully potty trained, Lilly loves humans, & loves spending time with our personal pups. She loves toys, you will always find her cuddled up with some toys in her bed or walking around showing off her new favorite toy.

Adoptable Pair AJ and Lilly

In our care she has received Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Skin treatments/ infections, Nails Trimmed, Heart Worm testing and medication. Lilly previously had part of her bottom jaw removed, but it doesn’t interfere with her cuteness or eating and drinking.

The pups are great meeting new small dogs. AJ is great with any size. Lilly needs slow introductions to dogs significantly bigger than her. Each dog seems to travel fine in the car.

Both dogs take a daily allergy pill, a daily omega 3 supplement, and get medicated baths at least once a week. Each have had skin issues (really dry flaky skin, itchy skin, etc) but Lilly has overcome most of it with medicated baths and mousse. AJ’s was worse so he got a cytopoint injection on top of medicated baths and mousse and is doing very well.

Adoptable Pair AJ and Lilly

AJ and Lilly are happy sleeping together on a dog bed, or in the big bed with their people. They do very well when meeting new friends. Although a crate hasn’t been needed, they did well the first few days when a crate was used.

Adoptable Pair AJ and Lilly

AJ 12 yr, 19 lbs – Lilly 10 yr, 17 lbs.

Both dogs have good temperments and should be fine around children. Young kids should be supervised around these sweet seniors.

This adoptable and loving duo are so well trained & simply enjoy spending time with one another as well as with their humans. They also get along with the other pups in their foster home. These two would make a perfect addition to any family. $400 adoption fee for the pair.
