Adoptable Mixes Clark and Roscoe are a pair of bonded sweethearts. They are both gentle and docile souls that just want to be loved. They adapted to the foster home routine and bonded with their foster siblings and mom very quickly. They are both lap dogs, although Clark is more of a velcro dog. Roscoe is more independent than Clark.
Clark loves attention and makes these cute whinning noises to get it. He could be a little jealous about sharing his foster mom. Roscoe is a funny guy who wiggles his whole body to show his happiness.
They both love to eat and Roscoe is known for being very quick at food stealing. Both are overweight and curently on a kibble and green beans diet. They are very obedient, quick learners and have a good recall. The dogs let you know when they need to go potty by standing by the door and making these cute noises.
Both dogs like to sleep with their foster mom and foster siblings in the big bed next to her. Roscoe and Clark will make great pets and would benefit from a person who is not gone for long hours from home. Clark will get anxious riding in a car and showed some separation anxiety during his first weeks at his foster hme. He has gotten much better.
In our care they have had – Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Medication (permanent – like for seizure treatment), Minor Surgery (such as removal of benign cyst), Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication
Roscoe underwent surgery for cherry eyes and might need dry eye medication in the near future. Clark has stage 1 trachea collapse and takes medication to alleviate the condition.
Both dogs do well on the leash. Clark needs to wear a soft no pull harness because of a begining trachea issue that is being treated. They absolutely love their walks. They are house trained, but occasionally will have an acccident or mark.
Clark and Roscoe like to sleep in the big bed with their foster mom. They also use a dog bed. These boys are friendly with people and new dogs, but may need a moment to adjust, which is perfectly natural.

Clark and Roscoe both get along with small dogs but will do well in a home where they are the center of attention. There is some anxiety and therefore, they will appreciate patience and someone who is around a good bit. *Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
