Harley is a 12-week-old Dachshund mix with a stunning blue coat, an adorable long, low Dachshund body, and a personality that’s every bit as cute as he is! At just 3½ pounds, Harley is expected to stay a small dog. His mom is a Dachshund, while his dad is unknown but believed to be another small breed.

This happy little guy is full of puppy energy and absolutely loves life. Whether he’s wrestling with his foster siblings, chasing toys around the house, or curling up for snuggles, Harley is always ready to bring smiles wherever he goes. He’s looking for a family that’s excited for all the fun, laughter, and adventures that come with raising a puppy!

Harley is everything you could hope for in a puppy—sweet, playful, affectionate, and full of confidence. He loves everyone he meets and thrives on attention, playtime, and cuddles. Because he’s so energetic, Harley would do best in a home with other playful dogs and/or children who can help keep him active and entertained.

Harley is still a young puppy and is just beginning to learn the ropes.

• 🚽 Working on housetraining and naturally prefers using a potty pad
• 🦮 Has been introduced to wearing a collar but has not started leash training yet
• 🛏️ Loves sleeping in the human bed and happily uses dog stairs
• 🐾 Uses a dog bed for naps
• 🚫 Not crate trained—he isn’t a fan of the crate
• 🍖 No food or toy aggression
• 🚗 Loves riding in the car, especially when he gets to be held
• 👋 Friendly with everyone he meets, both people and dogs
• 🔇 Not an excessive barker

• ✂️ Scheduled to be neutered on July 28
• 💉 Will still need his final two puppy vaccine boosters and his rabies vaccine after adoption

After his neuter surgery, Harley will spend a couple of days recovering with his foster before he’s ready to head home with his forever family.
