Adoptable mix BJ is a total sweetheart. He will follow his human everywhere in order to garner some petting time. BJ would be great for an older person who isn’t super active.
BJ loves all types of dogs, but ignores cats. He chases dogs and likes being chased. BJ enjoys walking on a leash, but will tire after a couple of blocks. He will bark at new people but doesn’t growl.
Adoptable Mix BJ does have accidents. He needs to go out first thing in the morning, fed, and taken out again. BJ does very well in his crate with his blanket in there because he will cover himself up. He shouldn’t sleep on the big bed because he could jump off and hurt his back.
BJ had his Adult Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Nail Trim, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication, Major Dental (cleaning and removal).

BJ gets along famously with other dogs! His foster moms favorite thing about him is that he bounces when he runs and when he’s happy! His ideal home would have a yard to play in, or trips to the dog park or other social situation for him. He would be taken out for frequent, yet short walks. His person would love petting time, like he does and he would have his food portion control well supervised! Mainly, his ideal situation is to be the apple of your eye and have some dogs around to play with as well.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
