Adoptable mix Junior is a loving puppy who enjoys play with toys and doxie siblings in his foster home. He’s very smart little chiweenie mix and knows his name. When called, he comes running.
He likes walking on the leash and sniffing everything he comes across along the way. As a young pup, he has plenty of energy and needs a family who will keep him active.
He loves toys and actually jumps on top of the toy basket to pick out his toys or just sits there to hang out with his personal treasures! He’s a funny little pup.
For the most part, Junior is house trained. His foster mom uses piddle pads just in case someone misses the signal that he needs to go.
Although he hasn’t been around cats or children, it’s likely that he would do fine with kids who are well-behaved and accustomed to small dogs. Older kids would not be a problem.
Junior doesn’t respond well to being crated and has exhibited the ability to climb over a 24 inch baby gate. He would do best if allowed to hang out with other fur siblings and his toys while you are gone.
This little fella gets car sick! He will not be a good fit for people who like to travel on trips. While usually friendly, he has been known to growl at a few vet techs.
Adoptable Mix Junior – 7 mos & 6.3 lbs
If another dog gets close to his food he will growl. He is fed in a crate so all are safe. He is fine sharing toys with his foster siblings.
He received Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Spay or Neuter, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication.
Junior is accustomed to sleeping in his dog bed or cuddling with his foster mom on the couch.
Junior is a sweetheart who has a lot of love to give. He would like another doggie playmate and favorite toys and would do best with an owner who works from home or is retired. As an active young pup, he’d love a yard to play in or paw-rents who like to get out and walk often.
If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.
*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
