Adoptable Dachshund Tebow – Meet Tebow! This sweet four-year-old boy is friendly with both large and small dogs. He likes children and is happy to meet strangers. You can take Tebow on car rides with you, he loves hopping in his car seat and taking a cruise! Tebow would make the perfect partner in crime going for errands or a trip to the farmer’s market.
Foster mom notes that Tebow has a high prey drive. Tebow would do best in a home without cats. He likes to chase after the cat in the foster home and squirrels when he goes for a walk. He does tug on walks but is working on his leash skills.
Tebow is also working on his potty training. We think he will do best in a home with little to no distractions (cats) so he can focus on his business and learning potty etiquette. The adoptive family must be patient and consistent with a bathroom routine.
This sweetie just wants to be near you! He is a classic “velcro dog”. Tebow is not crate trained. He will bark to be let out of the crate to be with his person. Tebow likes to sleep with you in the big bed. He is a happy camper as long as you are home and nearby. He doesn’t bark much if you are home. Tebow does has separation anxiety and prefers if his person is home most of the day, or if he can travel with you.
