Adoptable Mix Toby 3 is a joy to be around. He’s quiet and shy, but loves to cuddle up. He’s come a long way since getting plenty of attention from his foster mommy. Although he is an older senior dog, he is very perky and in good health. Don’t let this sweetheart fool you, he enjoys walks in the garden several times a day and has a perky personality!
When he first came to Low Rider, he was underweight was in dire need of some attention. He was, however, up to date on his vetting care and in good condition. He is not nearly as skittish as he was originally, although he needs a minute to get used to new people. Though shy, he has been happy to greet others, both people and dogs.
He was a bit underweight and his loving foster mom has added cooked chicken and veggies to his diet on a regular basis. Toby has NO objections to that and gets excited when it’s time to feast!
Toby is a quiet little guy who deserve a calm and nurturing atmosphere. A home with small children would not be suitable for him. His preference would be to live with a single senior friend or a couple who were at home most of the time or who will take him along. If there is another dog in the home, they should be calm and friendly. He is totally a non-confrontational little guy!
As a matter of fact, Toby 3 is such an easy going fella, he helps his foster mommy visit the eldery friends in their community. He has been good with children, adults, and other dogs in the process.
He hasn’t needed a crate and has had NO accidents in the house. He enjoys outings about three times each day for a walk in the garden. A harness would be best for him. Toby is quite content to sit next to his person on the sofa or chair and isn’t one who likes to play with toys.
Toby is in good health. He has a “ mole “ under his right ear. The vet looked at it at his last visit, no action taken. It is not ulcerated , is not scabby, does not have a discharge. We do not feel it would be in his best interest to have it removed.

This little guy is a gem and a gentleman, he is alert to everything around him. A lap ,or next to you in a chair is his favorite place to be. Likes his walks, gentle and sweet to strangers. Is well trained , enjoys his life to the fullest. Is young in body and temperament in spite of his age. Adoption fee $150

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
