Adoptable mix Dougie is a joy to be around. His foster mommy brags about him. Dougie gets along well with his female beagle friend and three male dachshund foster siblings. He’s good on a leash and a good boy all around.
Dougie is a real sweetheart who is good with kids and people of all ages as well as other dogs. He LOVES to be near and cuddle his people.
This little fella is not food or toy aggressive and is good on car rides. He doesn’t show any signs of anxiety. It’s unknown as to how he feels about cats, but he’s an easy going dog.
In our care he has received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication

He gets along well with my pack of hounds, but I also think he’d be ok being a family’s numero uno. He loves a warm lap to cuddle into. He also loves the big bed and sleeps all night through without even moving. He is house trained and crate trained, Even though, he’d rather be near his people. Warm, fluffy blankets and a treat and will go into his crate with ease. He loves car rides, toys, and snuggles. Once he knows what area that you want him to potty in the yard, he’ll run straight there, do his business and run back to you. He’s a easy peasy lil guy and will love you at first sight. *Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
