Adoptable Dachshund Perry is a sweet, friendly, smart, handsome, high-energy dog. Perry is very soft & affectionate & loves to play & zoom with another friendly dog. He came in and has been fostered with his dad, Mason.
Both of them would love to be next to you on the couch or up on the bed. They are working hard on their house training & with consistent patience & training, they should soon be completely housebroken. They are both good buddy companions.
Perry isn’t highly reactive to sounds outside nor neighbor’s talking outside. He does bark a lot when the doorbell rings. Otherwise, Perry isn’t much of a barker!
He has been friendly when meeting new dogs and did well at a recent event for Low Rider. He was interested and didn’t bark at people or other dogs.
Perry has learned to sit before his treats & meal & Mason knows the down dog command. They learned from the foster’s dog about hunting lizards & they love doing that! They are both high energy & like to play, run or be entertained.
In Low Rider care, he has received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Medication (temporary – like for acute infection), Spay or Neuter, Nails Trimmed, Heart Worm testing and medication.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
