Adoptable Dachshund Max 3 - Adopted - Low Rider Dachshund Rescue FL

***We are unable to accept any more applications*** Max will steal your heart in no time! This adoptable dachshund Max 3 is eight months old and just a little over 8 pounds. Max loves everyone he meets.

He does well in small, intimate gatherings with people and other dogs. He’s still learning not to be shy in busy public places. But of course, this will take time.

Max would love a play mate at home! He plays with an 85 lb. greyhound in his foster home. He hasn’t yet been around children or cats but foster mom states that he is friendly to others.

We’d also like to adopt Max to a family that wouldn’t have him crated much during the day, since he has spent most of his early days crated.

Max has been vetted and is not on any medications. He’s recently been neutered and has had some retained baby teeth removed that were still in his mouth.

Foster mom states that he is doing well post-op with the occasional marking in the house. She is working with him on this.

This boy loves his toys and going for big walks! He also loves learning and seeking affection and attention from his people. Max likes to be a “good boy”! Foster mom says, “If you’re looking for an actual perfect puppy, look no further”. We agree!

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.

The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
