Dogs Marked PENDING have been adopted but are still in the trial period. Dogs Marked ADOPTED may remain on the site momentarily as we await final confirmation they are settled in their furever homes. At any given time, we have about 60 dogs in our care. The ones posted here are fully vetted and ready for adoption, pending adoption, or recently adopted.
Dax – Mix
Adoptable Senior Mix Dax is 11 years old and weighs 15 pounds. After a few minor incidents upon arrival (to be expected with most rescue dogs) Dax settled right into his foster home. Dax will be happy in a variety of homes. He has no separation anxiety and is crate and house trained. He does love attention from his human and cuddles up nicely with a dog pal, once they have adjusted to each other.

Casper is fully deaf and because of this, she will benefit from an adopter who can be with her the majority of the time. She shows some signs of anxiety when her human isn’t near. She can be quite a barker as well, so an apartment would not be the ideal home for her. Because she cannot hear, she has no idea how loud her little barks can be! Something important for her adopter to know is that she does have a hernia- this does not impact her health at all but it will need to be removed at some point in the future. She is also allergic to lamb. This beautiful girl is the sweetest pup and is eager to grow and learn. Casper is a wonderful companion and deserves the right forever home!
