🐶 RODNEY UPDATE 🐶 More good news today our little guy is off oxygen and doing well 👏🏻 They are going to concentrate today on decreasing the IV antibiotics and moving him to oral antibiotics so that he can come home soon 🏡 (video was taken before he was weened off oxygen)

🚗 DRIVING MS DAISY UPDATE 🚙 TODAY the team picked up an additional passenger as Low Rider Toby hitched a ride to his foster home. 🐾 If you’re following Ms Daisy as she emBARKES on the long journey to freedom 🙌 Volunteers from Abilene, TX left in the wee hours of the morning yesterday🌞

🐶 Daisy was pulled from a high kill shelter by @All Kind Animal Initiative and placed with Low Rider 👏🏻
🐾 There are 15 DIFFERENT legs of this transport to bring this precious pup 🐶 to her Low Rider foster home in Lake City, FL ❤️ THIS is what it takes! One little dog at a time!

📣 URGENT 🚨 Seeking businesses who will provide tax deductible donation to help SAVE 3 month old dachshund Rodney. We are looking to transfer him to UF or Blue Pearl to develop an overall care plan. He currently is still on oxygen and IV to fight the pneumonia so he can undergo a liver shunt surgery and 🙏 live a full life!

🆘 EMERGENCY UPDATE for RODNEY 🆘 We are so grateful

Not the update post I wanted to make, but here we go.

We know when we take in senior dogs with obvious medical issues, there’s always a chance we won’t get to see them get their happily ever after that we envision for each and every dog that comes through the rescue… a forever home and many, many great years in it. We still always hope for the best though.

At Little Lady’s vet appointment on Friday, they did various imaging and reached the most awful conclusion: Little Lady has cancer and it is advanced and aggressive. She is not healthy enough to undergo any surgeries and even if she was, it’s too late. She was neglected and left without medical treatment for far too long and this awful disease has taken control of her body.

The vet has given us 3 to 6 months with her and we are determined to make every single day her best ones yet. We hope to make her as happy each and every day as she is today, enjoying her special pup cup. Thank you to everyone who has been sending love and prayers her way, please keep them coming ❤️

This past week, our sweet forever foster Frisky Clark crossed the rainbow bridge. Frisky came to the rescue almost exactly one year ago and made his way to his wonderful foster home with his incredible foster mom Michelle. When Frisky Clark became a Low Rider, he was said to be already 17 years old. Frisky quickly became a part of the family and embraced the term “forever foster” with so much happiness. He lived the past year with Michelle and her family and experienced love, peace, comfort, and joy each and every day.

We truly believe this past year of his life was the best year he ever had and we can’t thank his amazing forever foster family enough for giving him that. Please keep Michelle and her family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the immense loss of the best boy. We love you, Frisky Clark ❤️ Run free up there buddy and never forget how incredible loved you are by all of us down here 🌈
