Adoptable pair Bailey and Marshal are a couple of precious dogs who need their own family. Bailey is a striking looking female, with long red hair. She’s an AKC registered, Dachshund. Marshal (Marshmallow) is not a doxie, but is a cute little Chihuahua with an adorable facial expression and fun personality. Together, they are a bonded and loving pair of sweethearts who are searching for their forever family.
Bailey loves to play with all kind of toys especially the squeaky ones. She sleeps in the cutest and funniest positions. She is a good eater and loves her foster mom’s homemade food. Bailey loves her human and is very affectionate. She would certainly make a great addition to any family.
Marshal is a sweet, affectionate dog. He is definitely a lap dog and can be your shadow. He loves his human and can be jealous of her/his attention. He likes to keep her human at close range. He loves his toys and treats. He absolutely enjoys the dog park. He likes chasing and playing with the other dogs. He is a good eater and enjoys his foster mom’s homemade food. He is really a fast tail wagger. He has a spunky somehow funny personality.
These sweethearts are potty trained and good on the leash. Bailey and Marshal love to sleep with their foster parent and snuggle under the covers. Marshal may actually THINK he’s a dachshund too!
Both dogs are good with bigger kids, but haven’t been around very young ones. Although they are both house-broken, Marshal has been known to mark a few times.
Bailey enjoys car rides (and laying on clean laundry), but her brother isn’t sold on the car rides. Marshal (aka Marshmallow) is learning to enjoy them more now. He does not like to ride restrained in the back seat of the car. He gets very anxious and whines the whole time. He relaxes and can enjoy the scenery when he rides restrained but can make physical contact with his foster mom in the front of the car.
Marshal is really quick and has been known to escape, like Houdini! He loves to go to the dog park, and is leashed getting in and out of the car, but will try to jump! He doesn’t understand that he should be careful. He is super cute and has a terrific personality. His foster mom calls him “love-bug” because he is so sweet.
Bailey is a very sweet and mellow girl. She absolutely loves the dog park. She likes to run and play with her foster siblings and other dogs at the park. She has the silkiest hair of any dog you will find!
They cry and paces for a while when foster parent leaves the house especially in the evening, when it is dark outside. The separation anxiety is fairly heavy and they might benefit from medicine to take only on special occasions. Marshal is currently being treated for hookworms.
Adoptable Pair Bailey and Marshal – 5 yrs, 16 & 12 lbs
Bailey and Marshal are a couple of fun-loving, young dogs who need a family who will offer plenty of activity. They like to socialize with other dogs, and enjoy people. Both dogs like to go for car rides, as long as Marshal can have contact with his person, but watch out for him, he’s a jumper, even when leashed!
Bailey and Marshal will make a lovely addition to the right family. They dream of parents who will be around a lot for them, especially at night. Like all good dogs, they deserve a home where they feel secure and loved, where they get plenty of exercise, and have their health looked after. Mostly, they just want to be loved and are prepared to show love right back!
Adoption fee for the pair of dogs is $300 for Bailey and $250 for Marshal = $550
