Adoptable Mix Scarlett is a friendly and playful girl who just wants to be loved. She’s friendly with other dogs both big and small. Scarlett hasn’t been observed around cats but she’s such a sweetheart, as long as they don’t run, it’s most likely she would obey orders not to chase them.
Miss Scarlett just loves to go for walks and is working on not pulling as she becomes excited hunting for lizards, squirrels, etc. There is improvement on a daily basis. She is fully house-trained and crate-trained as well. She enjoys hanging out in her crate and has no problem going into it when her foster mommy leaves the house.
During the day, Scarlett uses her dog bed and at night she enjoys sleeping in the big bed with her foster mom. She tolerates car rides but is a little nervous and will pant and pace. A little car anxiety is evident and she can be timid if people are being loud or if animals are aggressive. She’s just a super sweet dog!
Scarlett is friendly when meeting new people. When she greets new people and animals she will scrunch her nose and show her front teeth but it’s actually a SMILE! She loves to be loved.
There is no excessive barking. On ocassion, she will bark at a person or dog she is spooked by….and any animals on the TV she will bark at and run up to the TV to see, which, of course, is adorable!
In our care, she has received: Vet Check, 1 or more Vaccines, Dental Exam, Nails Trimmed, Flea Treatments, Heart Worm testing and medication. There are no known medical issues.

Scarlett is sweet and playful. She enjoys playing with soft squeaky toys. She is fed twice a day and loves her kibble along with extra treats. She has friends at the dog park and is always ready to run as fast as she can. Scarlett has the cutest smile that will greet you when you return home or when meeting new people. She would do well in a home with another dog she could snuggle and play with regularly. She loves to go on walks or just snuggle up on the couch during the day. Adoption fee $300

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
