Adoptable Mix Oreo – Pending Adoption

Adoptable Mix Oreo is a delightful dog that has been through a lot and just wants love and attention. He rolls over on his back immediately for belly rubs. Oreo loves to sit with his people on the couch and just basically be where they are. The magical thing about Oreo is that he does not act his age and between his “dinner dances” and the way he runs around, you would swear he is no more than 4 or 5.

Oreo’s perfect home would be where he could have the attention he craves and be a much needed companion, preferably a person that is retired or home most of the day.  Oreo has always had either other dogs or people around him so being alone is a new experience for him.

Adoptable Mix Oreo

Adoptable Mix Oreo was part of a hoarding case and is very well adjusted considering. He loves to go for walks and gets very excited about it.  Oreo has never had an accident in the foster home. He goes out the dog door to do his business every time. Oreo barks outside appropriately at other dogs barking or unusual noises outside but it is not excessive.  He possibly has some beagle or jack russell terrier in him and that is what his bark sounds very much like.

Oreo does not like to be confined to a particular room/area. He will do damage to the room.  He is very food/treat motivated.  Oreo would love cats and children (and adults for that matter) of any age as long as they are showing appropriate dog relationship behavior. He just wants attention and love from anyone.

Adoptable Mix Oreo will make you smile with his silly antics and his expression when his lip gets stuck to his large front tooth and he can’t understand why his mouth feels funny. Oreo will worship you and be your shadow if you will open your heart and home to him. He is as more healthy and fun-loving than any senior dog known.

If you believe you could provide a safe and loving forever home for this dog, please fill out an application with the dogs’ name on it.

*Be advised, we have a couple of volunteers processing hundreds of applications. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.

The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life. You pay no fee unless you are chosen to adopt.
